These beginner golf lessons are designed for people who have never played golf before — no experience, no pressure, no intimidation. If you’re starting from scratch and want to learn golf the right way, this program is built specifically for you.
I specialize in teaching true beginners and spent years working with first-time golfers at NYU. Many of my students had never held a golf club before. We start with the fundamentals that matter most for new players: grip, stance, posture, alignment, and simple swing mechanics. From there, we build confidence and consistency step by step.
These lessons are open to all adult beginners — right-handed or left-handed, men and women, ages 18–64. Whether you’re picking up golf for the first time, coming back after a long break, or starting later in life, you’ll get instruction tailored to where you are, not where you’re “supposed” to be.
Golf can feel overwhelming when you’re new. There are a lot of moving parts and a lot of opinions. My approach to beginner golf instruction is to simplify the game, focus on the essentials, and help you make solid contact as quickly as possible.
Whether your goal is to feel comfortable at the driving range, play your first round, or just understand how the game works, these beginner golf lessons will help you go from zero to one — and actually enjoy learning along the way.
